However, my students and their parents/legal guardians have certain responsibilities as well:
Student responsibilities:
- Pay attention and participate in class.
- Display appropriate behavior and follow all rules and regulations at all times while in the classroom as well as on school grounds.
- NO USE OF CELL PHONE
- Attend school regularly and arrive to class on time.
- Enter the room quietly and start the work on the board. Prep work is not social time.
- Seek help when you are unsure of something. Review notes and the textbook regularly to identify areas of weakness. Take advantage of peer tutoring and tutoring by the teacher when it is offered.
- Regularly use a planner to record upcoming assignments, tests or projects.
- Bring appropriate supplies like paper and pencils as well as other items listed on the attached syllabus.
- Get notes and from a classmate when absent. Get missed homework from a classmate or from the teacher webpage Monarchtracypullo.weebly.com or pinnacle: https://gradebook.browardschools.com/redirect//Logon.aspx
- Please speak to the me, Mrs. Pullo if you cannot get the missed work and notes from someone. Review grading policies and expectations for homework, class work, notebook and quizzes/tests.

- Click on your child's gradebook:

- Scroll down to Go to the Internet Viewer and click.
- You can also sign up for daily and weekly emails that can be automatically sent to you with your child’s current grades.
- Click on your child's gradebook:
- Understand grading policies and expectations for homework, class work, notebook and quizzes/tests.
- Provide a climate in the home that supports education and sets high expectations.

- Be aware of and support county and school rules and regulations concerning conduct, dress code, attendance and all other areas of student’s responsibilities and rights (refer to Code of Student Conduct handbook).
- Encourage good attendance and on-time arrival to classes. Contact the school to excuse an absence. Students have two days to hand in their make-up work when they have an excused absence.
